This morning I’m leaving Los Angeles and moving for a time to Ashland, Oregon. The journey isn’t so long as a thousand miles, but it still begins with a single step. In today’s world, physical distance as an obstacle is obsolete. I can travel from any point in the world to any other point in the world in a single day or less in complete safety. Today the more arduous journey is a mental journey. Taking our mind out of time and place to a more quiet place, or a more exciting place. Today’s step is bringing me towards both, physically and mentally, I hope.
