Up until May I was getting really consistant with my practice. This year I started out doing another challenge that I ended at about day 52. Suddenly the yoga didn't seem to be helping, and I let my body take a break. Work has kept me away since early June, so I get my postures in a little bit at home. It's the only way to keep flexibility. Summer is here though and I've got a lot more going on. Thanks for checking in Lea.

But 9" plates don't hold the gianormous portions Americans love... How can we be satisfied unless each of us is consuming enough food to feed a family of 4 in [insert tiny unknown far off country here].

3 months of Bikram helps. I've gained some of the weight back since being in Louisiana to help Dad. More because of inactivity than the food.

Dr. Matt prescribes: smaller plates.
Toss out your 12" dinner plates. Buy 9" plates. Fill them up once a meal.

You do look much better in the photo. Ladies' man.

Paul, Thanks so much. I am looking forward to a consistent practice this year. Even though I've lost 40 Lbs I still have 25 lbs to go to meet my target weight of 180 lbs. Going to different studios is always great. Each studio, each instructor has unique and useful information to pass on, and my practice always benefits. namaste
