About
Someone out there clicked on this page and I didn’t have anything in it. Sooooooo I guess I have to write something about me. I was born, I lived, I died. whoa! Lets not get ahead of ourselves.
My name is Philip Robert. Properly pronounced my last name sounds like ROW BEAR Yes, yes I know it’s french. Feel free to call me Philippe if you like, but it won’t make any difference to me. I grew up in Louisiana in a good size family. There are seven of us all together. I have two older sisters, an older brother, two younger brothers and a younger sister. Despite the fact that we live all over the country we’re still pretty close. That’s my opinion anyway.
After graduating high school in Dec of 1979 I joined the Navy and embarked upon what would ultimately be a 21 year Navy Career. I retired in April of 2002 after attaining the rank of Chief Sonar Technician, guns (STGC). I was stationed aboard 7 different frigates and destroyers homeported in four different places around the world.

During my career in the Navy I managed to acquire a Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education Studies from Southern Illinois University, and was well on my way to completing a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from Chapman University.
Soon after graduating from Chapman University my darling love Tracy Richardson broke my heart, and I’ve been recovering ever since.
Since retiring from the Navy I’ve worked for the Apple Store because I’m a Mac Fanatic, filled the position of head videographer and editor for Cookin With Lenny, Catering, and was director of post production and telecine at Filmpool, Inc. Last year I returned home to Louisiana for the first time in 25 years to work on The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond by Tennessee Williams.
Now I reside in Ashland, Oregon where I’m practising Bikram Yoga, learning html, css, and how to make the internet work for me, and when the weather gets warm I’m going to be kayaking some of the most awesome whitewater in North America.
I’m an avid Burner having only been to Black Rock City once. I enjoy running with the Hash House Harriers, going to movies, hanging out in coffee shops, cooking apple tarts, and gumbo.
I am single and looking constantly for Love, Happiness, and Adventure…
